Those of you who’ve read Stuck With You will know that the main character, Elena, plays the cello. It’s an instrument I’ve always adored and would love to be able to play myself. Such a pity I’m tone deaf! I listened to lots of beautiful cello music while writing the book, both classical and contemporary, but the above video (by Caitlin Tarver and Maximilian Mross) was my favourite and I listened to it repeatedly. Elena sticks to the classical pieces when she plays for Daniel, so it’s not mentioned in the story, but I wanted to share it here because I found it so inspirational. Hope you enjoy it too!
